Umbrellas

Today we ran errands all morning. I returned an item to Big Lots that didn’t work, and FINALLY found some beach umbrellas. We used these kinds of umbrellas for shade, and we also use them for rain.  You see, I got another ‘bee in my bonnet’ and had to find the over sized umbrellas for the boys to use at soccer tournaments. I had 3 of them that we have used for years, but my sweet hubby decided to give them away. (I really do mean sweet-not sarcastic.) Needless to say, my hubby felt bad for a good friend of ours that was getting drenched, and told her to take the umbrellas after he was done using them during a torrential down pour. How those umbrellas survived-I have no clue. Maybe they didn’t-hmmm? After that, we didn’t see them…so…I went on a mission to buy more. My youngest and I went ALL over the city trying to find these certain umbrellas…poor boy…I think I took him to at least 6 stores on Saturday. No luck.   Whelp, today I found them, and the best part…THEY WERE ON SALE! YEEEWHO! (Ahh, the little things in life that make me happy!) 

I took the boys in for their check up on their orthodontics this afternoon. The little ones were very good, and I couldn’t resist taking a quick pic of them being cute together. I am so blessed they have exceptional parents that give them wonderful examples. My boys came out of the back with very patriotic bands. (Ahh, kiddos after my own heart!) Boy, they are sure handsome, but I could be a bit prejudice!
